First molar was lost due to dental abscess. The tooth was found to be unsavable, so a dental implant was chosen to fill in the space. The patient chosen a brighter shade as patient is to undergo teeth whitening for the next phase of the treatment.
Patient in a her 90s presented with multiple worn down teeth that has been repaired with patches of filling over the years. The upper right lateral incisor and canine was beyond repair and the patient did not want to be wearing removable plastic dentrue plate so implants was the chosen option to replace the tooth at the same day as removing the poorly tooth. Temporary implant crown was given whilst gums and bones were given time to heal and accept the implant. Whilst three months of healing time was given, we decided to tidy up the upper centrals incisors to give the tooth further strength and support to the tooth to stop it fracturing and cracking unfavourably.
